Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) to Kapiri Mposhi (Zambia)
Two trains depart both Dar es Salaam and Kapiri Mposhi each week, one known as the "Ordinary" passenger train and the other as the "Express" passenger train. The journey length of the "Ordinary" passenger train is about 48 hours, whereas the "Express" passenger train takes about 8 hours less to cover the same distance mainly due to stopping at less stations. Neither are reliable so don't plan tight connections!
